Tennessee Hills Bird Dog Rye Pale Ale 12 oz can

Bird Dog · Rye Pale Ale

A pale ale with a little rye in its step.

Citrus, floral, and pine hops over a caramel malt base with a peppery rye edge.

Rye in the grain bill

Most pale ales are all barley. We put rye in the mash for a dry, peppery edge that plays against the hops instead of fighting them. A touch of caramel malt rounds it out so the beer stays smooth.

Citrus, pine, and a spicy finish

Light golden in the glass. Citrus and floral hops up front, pine through the middle, then the rye shows up on the finish and dries everything out. 5.8% and 47 IBUs: enough bite to be interesting, not enough to wear you out.

Patient, steady, ready

A bird dog sits in the tall grass and waits for the flush. This beer's the same: nothing flashy, always there when you reach for it. It's on tap in Bristol and in 12 oz cans around the region.
